TGIF. Unfortunately, there is no longer that sweet run of teen sitcoms to stay at home and watch (i.e. Sabrina, BoyMeetsWorld, etc.). I guess that you'll just have to go out and dance or something..

Syracuse University's only music mag 20Watts is having their semester launch party tonight!
Performances by Sarah Aument, The Annual Fund(debut!) and the Smash Brothers, as well as copies of the latest 20Watts issue for your enjoyment.

'Who's Line is it Anyways?'-esque show, alternating between short-form and long-form sets, performed by the Upright Citizen's Brigade and Second City. Videoclips here.

Carnival Celebration, 9pm--1am, Westcott Theater
Brazil hosts one of the biggest Mardi Gras parties on the planet, so it is a fantastic idea to gather a bunch of Brazilian musicians and try and do-it-up Brazilian-style. Plus, all proceeds go to Syracuse's Rescue Mission, which aides the impoverished and homeless in the area.
